Petrochemical industry has supplied a number of chemical products and commodities, providing us a fabulous life. However, due to exhaustion of fuel resources, progressive global warming by emission of carbon dioxide, and accumulation of hazardous wastes, conversion of the process is urgently requested toward mild, recycling and sustainable process. Microbial fermentation process would become a key for such change. For example, a process of producing bio-fuel, bio-plastics and various bio-chemicals from biomass are actively studied in the world.

HyphaGenesis is expertized in the technology of strain development, genetic manipulation, metabolic engineering and process optimization. So far, we have developed new processes for vitamins, carotinoids, organic acids. A project for producing l-tartaric acid by new fermentation process has been patented.
